Healing steps

You’ve probably heard that you need to walk 10,000 steps every day to stay in good health. What’s the reason for this?

When we walk, our muscles work as a pump, improving blood flow through the veins. This increases the blood supply in the brain and provides brain cells with oxygen. These processes directly influence creativity and the flow of fresh ideas.

If the back is relaxed while walking, and the support function goes to the center of the feet, the fluids in the body flow correctly through their channels. This way the facial muscles relax, and the clamps in the neck go away. It promotes blood and oxygen flow into the facial tissues and renews skin cells.

But why exactly 10,000 and not 11,000? This is because the 10,000-step theory was originally a publicity stunt when the pedometer was invented in the 1960s.

But 10,000 steps a day is not the norm for everyone. Determining the rate of your physical activity depends directly on your goal.

To make walking useful and a pleasant pastime, choose a beautiful route that pleases you. Maybe walking will become the sport you’ve been looking for for years.
