REM

REM (Rapid Eye Movement) is a light sleep stage–it is the ideal stage to wake up at to feel refreshed and well-rested.

This stage is characterized by a random movement of eyes, low muscle tone throughout the body, and occurrence of vivid dreams.

REM phases are marked on the Night sleep graph with blue rectangles.

ALARMS

Using the “Smart alarm,” you can set the time period when you want to wake up. GoBe will monitor your sleep, identifying the REM phase closest to the time you’d like to wake up at.

You can also use the “Quality alarm” for weekends or vacation time–GoBe will wake you only once you’ve achieved your desired “Sleep quality.”

SLEEP DURATION

GoBe automatically measures Sleep duration as the amount of time you spent sleeping between 9 PM and 12 PM the next day, excluding all the time slots you woke up at throughout the night.

WAKE-UPS

GoBe identifies the time periods you spend awaken throughout the night. This stage is labeled in yellow on the graph.
