Why syncing your smart band matters

GoBe collects data about your body all the time it’s worn: stress levels, sleep quality, hydration, absorbed calories, and hundreds of subtle changes that are impossible to notice on your own. However, for these measurements to turn into clear charts and meaningful insights, the band needs to sync regularly with the HEALBE app.

GoBe collects a large volume of data — from heart rate and movement patterns to stress, neuroactivity, calorie absorption, and hydration. Measurements are taken every few seconds, so the band accumulates a significant amount of data each day.

For this reason, the device stores data for a limited time: up to 7 days on GoBe U and up to 5 days on GoBe3. This timeframe is intentional — it helps maintain measurement accuracy without overloading the band’s internal memory. If syncing does not occur for longer than this period, older data is automatically deleted to ensure stable device performance.

Data finalization

Syncing is more than just data transfer. During sync, the app converts the band’s measurements into analytics: it builds stress levels and sleep charts, updates your energy balance, shows hydration shortage, and helps you understand how your body responds to food and physical load. Without syncing, the data remains “raw” inside the band, and you don’t see the full picture.

Absorbed calorie data is finalized at noon. This means that the most accurate view of yesterday’s data is available only after noon the following day. That’s why we recommend syncing your band with the app shortly before 12:00 — so the most complete data is available at the moment of finalization.

The optimal syncing routine is connecting GoBe to smartphone once a day, before noon. This is enough to keep your data up to date and help you notice changes in time. You can sync more often (up to 3–5 times a day), but keep in mind that data transfer consumes battery power. Long gaps without syncing, on the other hand, may result in partial data loss.

If you’d like to review a more complete history of your metrics, you can do so in the HEALBE web dashboard at web.healbe.com. Use your HEALBE account credentials to sign in.

Health and well-being are always worth the effort. If you have any questions along the way, feel free to reach out via the in-app chat — we’re always happy to help.
